Woman raped, son killed

A woman was raped and her 19-year-old son was shot dead in Modimolle, in Limpopo.
A woman was raped and her 19-year-old son was shot dead in Modimolle on Tuesday afternoon, Limpopo police said.
It was believed that the woman’s estranged husband and three of his employees were behind the attack, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi in a statement.
The four men tied the woman to a bed in her home, before her husband allegedly ordered them to rape her at gunpoint.
During the rape, the estranged couple’s son arrived home and the intruders allegedly shot him in the head.
Afterwards, the men fled the scene in a white Toyota Fortuner.
No arrests had been made by Tuesday night. – Sapa
