According to reports Nfc gathered, a police officer identified as Corporal Mzeyol Terwase has allegedly shot dead a security guard identified as Musa Ali in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday night of February 2, 2012.
The trigger happy policeman, as told from an eyewitness account, was alleged to have shot Musa by a stray bullet from the police officer.
We gathered from some residents of Ogunlana Drive, where the incident happened, that Mzeyol allegedly shot into the air sporadically when a motorcycle rider called Okada, refused to stop to part away with N50 allegedly collected by some policemen who mount roadblocks on that axis.
Further accounts revealed that the stray bullet hit Musa while he was where he guards.
Cpl Mzeyol, we learnt has been detained at Iponri police station in Area C police Headquarters.
Nfc visited the police station where Cpl Mzeyol was said to have been detained but some police officers we attempted to confirm the arrest of Cpl Mzeyol from declined talking to us but referred us to the Area Commander, Mohammed Ali.
