Simon Evia, real name Simon eveshoyan, is a Nigerian actress and writer from Edo State. Born in the Northern city of Kano, Nigeria, on the 22nd of August, to late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Ogedengbe, she ventured into Nollywood in 2007, but registered fully with the Actor Gilds of Nigeria (AGN) in 2009.
She has since starred alongside Notable names such as: Segun Arinze, Chika Ike, Funke Akindele, Ebube Nwagbo, and more.
She is most noted for her roles in movies like, my tomorrow, summer camp, ladies.com, the bulls, Twin Rivers, when love dies, the chief servant, and f.c.t. (federal capital territory).
In 2011, she joined Nollywoodgossip as a writer and covers celebrity interviews and other interesting Nollywood stories through her now very famous column Nollywood Gist With Evia.
Simon Evia currently resides in Abuja.
