A little over two months ago, 9Ja Breed dropped the first of a series of compilation albums they are working on titled 9Ja Breed Vol 1 which included tracks from the likes of; Gino, Shank, YQ, the late Dagrin, Sossick, LayLow, Buckwylla amongst others.
Prior to the release of that compilation, lovers of the artist Gino and rap genre as a whole had been awaiting word of when Gino’s sophomore album would drop (if ever) as he had taken a hiatus from the rap game not long after he revolutionized it with the release of his classical single ‘No Be God’ with an accompanying video.
Good news is Gino’s Camp has finally made it known that while many thought the rapper took time off after his debut album Pain Plus Work, he was actually in the booth recording a body of work for his sophomore album, and that the Sossick produced single Baby No Be Lie which has since become a hit since appearing on the 9Ja Breed compilation is just one of the many hit tracks coming off his second album scheduled to drop later this year.
