Who cares if they fail to recognize Liberia as their country of origin? we know and the rest of the African entertainment demography knows now...we good! Oprah confirmed her roots to be from Liberia, what about some Nigerian movie actress? This is absurd and laughable that people neglect their roots because of fame.If she reason out that we not too good for her as a country, so be it! one thing I know is that God will always raise up more and better Liberians to positions of prominence--people whose deeds and achievements will go down in history...not on the covers of magazines! I like how the law is used and quoted when it benefits an individual and not the Country ..... I think we all know her dad is of another descendant ......The acknowledgement or lack of it is what Im speaking about... My dad was borned in Nigeria to liberian parents,, but its always place of birth nigeria, nationality, Liberian....To lie and say she was borned in ghana only to appeased the ghanian gods is sad and laughable.

no one is taken her wealth from her neither her "affluence" but pls correct the reporters when you are referred to as a Ghanian. She was borned and raised in Liberia for heavens sake..

Ivan , whether she is a Ghanian or Lebanese, her existence is of no relevance to anyone nor does the welfare of the Liberian people depend on her tiny winy social status......She could be a Filipinos for all I care.

what ever Chrichtian!! Im married to An American but my place of birth remains Liberia..its her duty to help Liberia shine on the entertainment scenes..The bottomline remains the fact! She is not a Ghanian!

according the Ghanaian constitution of the forth republic, just been born in Ghana does not make you Ghanaian if you are of a different nationality. In order for her to be Ghanaian she has to naturize.
