Miyatti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural organisation, has said that it would, henceforth, deal with those who give themselves titles synonymous with Fulani communities across the country and use such titles to defraud and cheat people.
Bello Bodejo, the National Chairman of the group, told journalists that some people from Benue State allegedly paraded themselves as leaders of Fulanis, gathered some herdsmen in the state and asked them to contribute twenty cows, saying they were demanded by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar.
He stressed that those who engaged themselves in such act would not only be arrested but would also face the full wrath of law.
He also advised Fulanis to be vigilant and report such people to the nearest police stations or contact the national headquarters of the organisation for prompt action.
