Segun David Ajanaku who perfoms under the name is a Nigerian Rapper who was born and raised in Lagos,Nigeria.
Daws began writting rhymes at the age of twelve with no childish flow which make people call him like:Young Boss,Youngest Lyricist.
He raised lots of eyebrows with his track:Real like Aids,Hip Hop Is Alive,Verisimilitude in which he went against speaking your mother tongue in Hip Hop Music as inrelivant.
With appearances from his friends Cypha,Deja and Kraft one of the best producer in Africa.Hip Hop Is Alive sounds controversial but its not and the
track is widely hailed a classic.The track is said to be one of the greatest Hip Hop track of all time.Daws lyrics attracted a significant amount of attention
within the Hip Hop Community with great lyrics like:Hip Hop aint dead,still breathing,it only fainted/Sleep a cousing of death,fainting aint releated.etc
‘REAL LIKE AIDS’ is a track filled up with lyricism.’DAWS’ went as far as saying ‘Stop judging rappers by album covers’ Yall got to stop aiming to beef to sell records’ etc.Great lines you will say but thats a lyricist for you.’DAWS’ is known for his lyrical teaching skills,passing messages.
