Darey releases new video
Soundcity Music Video Award winning singer Darey Art Alade has released the video of his track “Ba Ni Kidi”, off his latest dual-disc album ‘Double Darey’. Released on several entertainment websites yesterday, the video was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. It was directed by Mark Hofmeyr and produced by his label Soul Muzik.
Darey who was recently named ‘Nigeria’s R&B King’ by City People Magazine, released ‘Double Darey’ on February 28, 2011. The first disc, ‘Heart’, parades a rare set of timeless slow to mid-tempo R&B/soul tunes that truly expose the naked essence of Darey’s wide vocal range. On the other hand, the second disc, ‘Beat’, contains more up-tempo dance tracks.
